Hahaha!

I have never had so much fun in such a short time! True, this is not an animation but screw that! I am willing to forget that fact because this is just so... "AWESOME!" Wow man, this truly is under rated and I love it! Good thing this finally got the recognition it deserved. (Got some pretty weird looking friends man.) Lol! This is so great!

Not expected!

When I saw that there was a new entry by Shawn (Afro_Ninja), this is not what I expected at all. I mean, the animation is good but not that great. The style is different but acceptable. What really killed this submission was the music you used. Not that good and not that suitable for the movie. Smething else might have been better. But, just to point out certain parts I liked, here are a few. The seamless transitioning between the outside of that man's house to the inside through the window was extremely well done and then there was that part where he broke of a piece of that memorial for firefighters... Those particles flying out made it look pretty cool. What I also liked was the used of "curvy" lines and straight lines. The different camera angles were good too. The blur effects were nicely done too. Overall, good movie.

The ending was highly unexpected on my part.

Well, I think the music thing simply boils down to opinion. Most people think it matches perfectly. Meh :)
Thanks for the review

Congratulations man.

Congratulations man. The animation on this was perfectly accomplished and, although there were a few times your forgot to animate the guitarist due to palm muting and such, it was all in synch. Well done. I really like it. The South Park animation is excellent and although not to distinguishable, I can see that the lines surrounding your characters are smoother and thicker than those of South Park which just adds to the smoothness and style. I also really liked how the guitarist jumped up in the middle of the song. Really nicely executed. Good job man. Now, all you need to do is make a short, five minute film on something funny or relevant.

Stupendously brilliant!

This just simply is brilliant! It's original, funny, and amusing to watch. Not once did I feel like switching this movie off. It had potential and humor. The graphics are different from the usual NG movies and the sound is nicely done. I totally comprehend the story and it all made sense... In a funny way! This really is a breathe of fresh air from all the other movies cluttering up the portal. You get all my gratitude. Good job.

Hmmmmm.

Ahh! The spirit of Thanksgiving is back again AND so are a bunch of Thanksgiving flash movies. This one is nothing special but still a good watch. The animation is far from lacking and the music goes nicely along with the animation. Although short, no biggie. All in all, well done!

Glad you got some kick out of it! I was going to make it longer, but I had some other projects I was workin on. THANKfully I got this one done in time! haha

This brings back GREAT memories!

I remember when I was younger, walking around aimlessly, having no purpose in life, having no favorite music genre, listening to anything. well, one day, I saw the music vido for "Wear My Hat" by Phil Collins and, instantly, it was my favorite song. I don't know why. You can call me crazy but I don't know if it was the tune, the person, or EVEN the style of music but I intstantly loved this song. Although today, Phil Collins isn't what he used to be, I still respect him for this song and you to Madelief.. You did an very good job on this submission. Not only bringing back great memories, but also great joy. The animation has a nice touch of style to it and everytime the refriain played, you had a specific animation for it. Sheer work of brilliance.

Hilarious

There are no words that can describe how funny this actually is. Having it's own unique style, and an original plot, "UGLY" is a movie not to be missed. Full of plenty of humor and gore, "UGLY" will bring laughter and joy to the hearts of many. Although somewhat short, it was just the right length for this movie.

yes...right...

SOAD???????What kinda music is that???
Just kidding, just getting you back. But about your movie, it's got some serious issues. First off, if you are going to do a music video, I would strongly suggest NOT using stick figures. Why you ask? Simply because most people don't want to watch "dancing" stick figures for 2 whole minutes. Another problem was the constant overuse of gradients, you used them way too much and what was up with the drummer and his head. It appeared as if his head were connected to the sticks... Tsk, tsk, tsk. Show's lack of motivation and self-discipline on your part. Also, when you featured that guitarist at the beginning, ha ha, it didn't really look like one and what he was holding, didn not resemble a guitar at all, maybe making his appendages move a little may add a little life to him. So, in the future, if you are going to make a music video for some well known band, please show them the slightest sign of respect by not using sticks.

Misleading

Just by looking at the preloader, one can expect to see a good movie. WRONG! This movie is far from spectacular and at most, misleading. First of all, here is some advice for the author, if you are going to animate a stick figure, please do it frame by frame. It isn't that hard to redraw a stick figure over and over. Compared to redrawing a fully animated character in each frame, drawing a stick figure, frame by frame is easy. Another thing I disliked in this movie was that the pace was really slow and althoug netioned before as being a trailer, this had nothing to do with a trailer. Conventional trailers contain a bunch of flashing words and changing scenes, here, there is none of that, just a stick figure killing what seemed to be a janitor and then proceeding toward an elevator. While he is in the elevator, you are naturally expecting for something to happen but, no, nothing happens, at the end of the "apparent" movie, it just freezes and there are no words to indicate the end. If you right click and press play, he starts moving a little again but then, it takes you back to the beginning of the movie. This movie could really waste someone's valuable time and it wasted mine.

Typical

This movie contained a man playing a banjo using different chords although his hands remained in the same position and a cat who meowed every 5 seconds without a moving mouth. Then, 15 seconds into the movie, the man gets up, in a badly animated way, and for no apparent reason, decides that he has had enough with the cat so, he grabs the banjo with both his hands, this is all done in motion-tweening mind you, he smashes the banjo on the cat's head and as expected, the only thing that happens is the top of the cats head goes missing with only a few drops of blood spilled. Now someone, please tell me if this movie is even worth watching?
