Dance music huh.

I don't listen to nearly as muc hDance music as I would like but this really got my head bumpin'. I thoroughly enjoyed listening to it and it really is a catchy beat. Like you have said in your other songs, as well as your reviews; your stuff is not complex but it has a nice beat to it and it's catchy which is good. Epic is not always the way to go, sometimes, just getting something that gets people to nod their head is good.

WAR-BASTARD responds:

Yea I'm pretty happy with the beat too :) heavy kick and a clap and hi hat that mix together pretty well.

Kinda.

I don't listen to much DnB but you have the basics down I would say. The only issue is your samples. I think they need more punch and ooomf. Keep it up and you will be on your way to stardom. Make something that will make my sub woofer SHAKE.

boney-man responds:

"Make something that will make my sub woofer SHAKE."

I'll get right on that. I'll try to get my bass not to sound like static.

You're finally back you bastard!

You know, just cause you had no internet for over a month doesn't mean you have the right tofall off the face of the earth, you bastard! Anyway, I guess this redeems your short disappearance. I really like this piece and you have once again proven yourself as an adept composer. I am always baffled by your non-punk work. I know you can do other genres but seriously, wow. And you know what? This is great, just in time for the redesign, it should be the theme song for Newgrounds.

Evil-Dog responds:

Thanks dude, I appreciate your feedback :) Having no internet allowed me to work on this undistracted so it was a good thing I guess haha
peace

Dude!

When I usually listen to music, I just picture each instrument doing its own thing and I'll even admit that when I listen to other music with lyrics, I usually disregard the lyrics as words but an extra instrument and listen to the song as a whole (instrumentally.) If that makes any sense.

But um, when you said that this was reminescent of NIN, I immediately loved the song even more. I dunno, songs like this (a blend of guitar and ambience/piano) make me feel great and although this can be a song on is own, I also see it as an intro for something GREAT! This is great and now that you have your keyboard, I look forward to your future songs. You have just gone up two levels. Keep going man, you will go beyond.

Evil-Dog responds:

I could say that this is like NIN, only a million times worse haha I'll never compare myself to NIN, cause he's just...too good. I'll probably try to do something like that again. Thanks for the comments and all dude :)

I like this.

This is great and funny. I like it but the quality could be better. I am looking forward to hearing some more stuff from you. Just make sure you get some better quality next time and less mic movement sounds. Also, there were a few mistakes and some out of key moments but overall, it's great.

cheesebizkit responds:

right on bro, but dont expect much better quality

Yes!

Don't ask how or why but I have been waiting for this track for quite some time. I am looking forward to round 2 and next time make it a wee bit longer. Also, he is wicked on that machine, sounds like it is a real guitar. Keep up the great work.

Oro responds:

it is a real guitar!

Too short.

The effect was nice and this sounds like an intro to a show or something. Definitely has potential but it was too short!

XwaynecoltX responds:

Thanks for the review.

Hahaha.

I liked the vocals but this song was very weird. I don't know if you realized but this sounds like Video Game music all the way! Make another one like this and release a 2 song CD, you will make millions!

RadRacer responds:

u liked the vocals? crazytalk. and why release a 2 song cd when i could release a 3 song cd and make millions!!?

Very raw!

I liked the raw feel of this. The second riff was awesome but you really need some drums in there or some vocals... Something to make it better. Keep at it and always remember that practice makes perfect!

RadRacer responds:

Its just me and my ol' guitar so I can't really do that, but yeah i know what you mean. Thanks for the review

Quality is important!

The quality was not that great although I did enjoy the tune. It was a bit repetitive but it does have potential. What did you use to record this?

Leroybrownn responds:

all i used was TASCAM MF-P01 PORTSMANSTUDIO 4 track recorder it casts about 120$ it sucks i know but thanck for reviewing it
