What Comes Up, Must Be Put Down: Mesmerizing.

Nice use of camera angles and nice implementation of suspense. The begininning with random objects coming out his shirt sleeve was weird at first but then started making sense when the zombie appeared out of nowhere at the window sill. It started getting funny when he couldn't get the correct object out of his sleeve.

The blood splatter reminded me of those zombie movies (once again, meaning you did an excellent job!) when there would be a ridiculous amount of blood. The sound is FAR from perfect and the echo effect does get annoying.

It was hilarious when he was thinking to himself and then, he started screaming like a girl when he ran outside. Zombie on top of the truck, classic! When he used the fork, I was surprised at how funny that actually was.

Then there came the scene with zombies carrying and doing various things... Funny. The one with a bird on its head. The other carrying a wounded one. Comedic.

The ending, involving the hands coming out of the door was great and the scream was a nice touch. Thank you for the entertainment.

I'm happy to hear you really liked it. Thank you.

The Calm Before: Top Notch!

The beginning with the truck hitting some spikes and spewing toxic waste all over the cemetery is brilliantly done. Although not exceptional in the graphics department, it's all good. I also like how you presented the credits on tombstones... Very clever. This is just like in a movie you'd see on TV. The hand coming out of the ground was also great. I love the way you used black and white to liven up the atomosphere.

This reminds me so much of the B-type Zombie Movies I would watch as a kid. The music is also nice and cheesy. Just right for this movie.

The scene with the couple is a classic. Just like in most zombie movies, there is always some romance involved. "Cacamooga." It's hilarious how the woman drinks the ring.

Now, the bar scene was all good BUT, the only inconvenience was the woman's voice. It sounded like a man! Probably because it was. Haha. Just adds to the humor factor. You should have added subtitles or an option to toggle them on or off.

I also liked how each scene was introduced with a TEXT screen. Kind of like in the "Kill Bill" series. The reference to "Tool Time" was unexpected and weird.

This episode was slow but still enjoyable. No actual action but a nice introduction to the whole series. I really like your style. Thank you.

Thank you very much for the well thought long review. I love reading long reviews, it shows that that particular viewer paid attention and seemed to enjoy it more.
The girl's voice is purposely mean't to sound more manly than the actual male character. The girl's name is Girlman, lol.

Not expected!

When I saw that there was a new entry by Shawn (Afro_Ninja), this is not what I expected at all. I mean, the animation is good but not that great. The style is different but acceptable. What really killed this submission was the music you used. Not that good and not that suitable for the movie. Smething else might have been better. But, just to point out certain parts I liked, here are a few. The seamless transitioning between the outside of that man's house to the inside through the window was extremely well done and then there was that part where he broke of a piece of that memorial for firefighters... Those particles flying out made it look pretty cool. What I also liked was the used of "curvy" lines and straight lines. The different camera angles were good too. The blur effects were nicely done too. Overall, good movie.

The ending was highly unexpected on my part.

Afro-Ninja responds:

Well, I think the music thing simply boils down to opinion. Most people think it matches perfectly. Meh :)
Thanks for the review

Hmmmmm.

Ahh! The spirit of Thanksgiving is back again AND so are a bunch of Thanksgiving flash movies. This one is nothing special but still a good watch. The animation is far from lacking and the music goes nicely along with the animation. Although short, no biggie. All in all, well done!

TOXIC-BOMB responds:

Glad you got some kick out of it! I was going to make it longer, but I had some other projects I was workin on. THANKfully I got this one done in time! haha

The car accident saved you.

This movie actually has nothing to do with flash animating. At first glance, according to the first scene, you may think that this is going to be another badly animated movie but then, this spectacular 3D car accident comes up and, whoa, you have to see it to believe it. Please watch this movie and understand what marijuana can do...

Brandon and Johnny left us their bodies, but we left them our dreams.

Hilarious

Michael Laskaris, you truly have a knack for comedy, I mean, this is really funny! The first Bob the Ball was really funny and this one, is even funnier. Full of random jokes, violence, and story-telling, this is a must see for anybody wanting to watch a good old comedy. One of the funniest parts included the reference to Billy's mom as a MILF, but, as a precaution to not ruining the movie for others, please watch this, it is very funny. I guarentee that you will laugh at least twice!

Thanks for the great review!

Talent in it's purest form!

Well, this movie was really something else. I mean, it was original, well done, and short but sweet! The perfect example of keeping quality at it's best for a short amount of time. I loved it. It was bewildering and awesome. The concept was great! Characters, awesome; music, very good; humor, not overused, very good. This was so well done that I think it deserves all the recognition possible. This, as you said, must have taken such a long time to make but as most of us know, it pays off in the end. However much time you spend in your animations determines how good it will be in the end! Brilliantly done man, nice job, keep up the good work and hope to hear more from you and Ice Wolf soon!

Evil-Dog responds:

Wow thanks man I appreciate that.
Lots of effort concentrated in 2 minutes :)

Very Good

This was better than Bus Stop but not better than UFO Stop!!! I did, although like this one because of the interview but the SWAT in this were REALLY dumb, sorry if I am repeating what other reviewers already said. I also liked how, if you didn't ask a question, he would wander off with different things. There was, one thing, although, that was bad, the lip synching, you may have to revise that. Other than that, VERY GOOD, and another thing... I loved the ending, DISTURBING!

Riotcomix-2006 responds:

Outsane is ways, is better than Bus Stop. Outsane goes places, Bus Stop stays put like if you were waiting for a bus *ahem*. Bus Stop was inspired when my friend and I were waiting for the bus and we talked about anything that popped into our heads. Of course, none of the jokes in Bus Stop were in our real conversation, just the concept and how such a simple thing like waiting started up the most random dialogue.

Outsane are the jokes that couldn't be used in Bus Stop because
- Bus Stop was already at a running time of 8 and 1/2 minutes long
- File Size too big already

Outsane is different because I put my horror/suspense side of me into my comedy. I loved the response from most how they liked the ending, and that's a relief.

Thank you again for commenting. The Swat idea is cliche, but that was somewhat the point, to set everyone up for a whole different type of ending. The beginning will manipulate you in thinking that any action in the movie will be stuff that was already done, but then suddenly, the twist ending pops up. Catches almost everyone off guard.

I'll be looking forward of your viewing of my next movie. It's in its baby steps right now. No plot, and very little jokes created so far. It's going to take time once again. UFO STOP had all of the jokes created for that movie, unlike Bus Stop and Outsane how they split the jokes in half for eachother.

Mediocre compared to UFO STOP!!!

This was also different in many ways but, unfortunately, this was by far, worse than UFO STOP!!! This was just a bunch of stories and there was no interactivity although the stories were QUITE amusing, Don't get me wrong though, I still like this movie and it's good and all, but, it's just not as good as UFO STOP!!! And another thing, what really makes me like this movie is the WEIRDNESS involved, I mean, it's so weird it's almost scary, but, before I give anymore away, bravo, this desrves all my six points!

Riotcomix-2006 responds:

Well, Bus Stop is the original of the series, the first one. When I made Outsane I decided to make it interactive with the viewer. Not many people know that UFO Stop was supposed to be an elaborate movie where the action sequences and comedic bits would co-exist with eachother. The movie was originally going to be a free watch movie with no interactivity, but because I couldn't voiceover 7 people talking to each other because it would sound similar all of the time, and also for file size purposes, I had to cut down UFO Stop down alot. I think the movie is better how it is. I took out two sub plots that were......ok.

I'm glad you still liked Bus Stop, yes. Ahaha, alot of people feel the wierd vibe that Bus Stop gives.

In my opinion, it's hard to choose out which installment of the series is the best; I being the creator of all of them, they're all like my kids in a wierd way. UFO Stop I think is Bus Stop and Outsane elements together, and with also its own style and pace thrown into a combination. Bus Stop is a straight-out comedy like it was performed on a stage. A simple shot of the two actors delivering their jokes one after the other. Outsane starts the action portion with its gun shooting opening and big finish.

I'm more than happy that you enjoyed the trilogy like you did. Thank you for commenting, and hope to hear from ya on my next movie.

Outstanding

This movie was really weird and out of the ordinary. I mean, nobody else on Newgrounds has done something like this... I love it! I can see how this is one of those things where, either you love it or you hate it and I LOVE IT! Simply because of its interactivity and the sheer genius behind each character. This was very GOOD. Although the ending didn't make much sense but oh well.

I also remember the day OUTSANE came out and how I though that was awesome, well this is even better! I really like the Trilogy and you are really talented. I am going to view Bus Stop and OUTSANE once again. This deserves all my NINE points, you are really talented and different.

Riotcomix-2006 responds:

First off, I have to thank you for commenting. It means alot to me that you loved the series.

The ending to this movie picks up right away at the start of "Bus Stop!!!" UFO Stop I think can still stand by its own, but you get the full experience by watching the trilogy I find. Thank you once again for watching and expressing your thoughts of this movie, and the trilogy itself :)
