Love the intro.
The intro to this song is perfect and couldn't be more fitting. I love the bass line to this song and I also love the lyrics. It is catchy and very uplifting.

I love this!
Believe it or not, a couple years back, while I was doing behind the wheel to get my permit, I had you playing in the car. My instructor listened and he was like "Woah, who is this? They are hella good!" And he doesn't really like anything so that is a big compliment. I really like this. This is what makes me love ska so much. You guys rock and should definitely give me the link to your website so I can order a CD now!
Very ska-ish!
I like this. It has trumpets, horns; the whole shebang! The quality was very good and I liked the diversity. Could have used some lyrics but still is good.
I posted a new version, let me know what you think of that one. thanks agian for the support, eventhough we're broken up!
ha ha, thanks!
Um...
I don't really see how this is ska... I would maybe put this into Modern Hip Hop or something... Other than that, it isn't that bad.
Very good.
The beginning of this song made it sound like a simple, generic song but this is far from that! It actually develops into something much bigger and I love the seamless transition you create. Very well done and the quality was excellent!
...well isn't this exactly the opposite of the other review.
As much as I appreciate the great, nice comments you told me, it would have been nicer if you told what I could ahve eliminated and/or added. Like I said, I'm trying to come up with a completely different style.
I need as much critizm as possible :)
Thanks for the review!
Really could use some extra instruments or vocals.
This just did not do it for me... I mean, yeah, it has a nice simple beat but the entire time, I was waiting for something to happen. It just builds up some drama for nothing. Add some vocals or another instrument and then it will be gold. It's as if a bass player released an album of only his bass lines. Good effort.
The reason for the simplicity and build-up is because it's specifically tied to the timing of the animation.
Two versions?
I agree, this is somewhat different but it basically is the same thing as AxeL-TootH-419, just a little slower like you said. I just don't think you needed to present both of them. Although I enjoy this version a little bit more, they are similar and it would be just like if I submitted the same song twice, just at a different tempo. Don't take this the wrong way at all.
Ambient, yes.
I dunno about you but I think this would be better suited in the ambient section... That's just me but other than that, it was alright. The drumming just did not interest me but I did like the little "heart beat" effect. Keep it up!
Telefon Tel Aviv. Are you a fan?
This was a very interesting piece. Unlike some others that just jump at you with distortion and glitches, this was very subtle and gradual. I liked it, very relaxing and very smooth transition. I loved the keys and everything about this piece. How come you don't have more stuff on here?
In case you missed my one-line summary, I said that this sounds like something Telefon Tel Aviv would do, are you a fan of their music? If you have never heard of them, you must, they are really good! If we could add artists to our favorites list, you would definitely be on it. I love this! Keep making music, you have the talent and skill.
Yeah man. Those squeeky drums are inspired by them. Lol.
Thanks for the review.
Rarely do I give a 10.
This really blew me away. The quality was excellent aswell as the diversity. The instruments you used were great and I love how it switches tones. It starts off slow and melancholic and then becomes upbeat and interesting. This is great, keep it up and you'll become an accomplished musician.
Thank you kindly. I'll start composing again in the Autumn
